Azzurri to face England and Scotland in Rome.
Italy will play two home games in the 2026 edition of the annual Six Nations rugby union championship: against Scotland on 7 February and England on 7 March.
After a historic 2024 campaign and continued growth under head coach Gonzalo Quesada, the Italian side will look to Rome’s Stadio Olimpico to provide the home-field advantage needed to climb the championship table.
The Azzurri kick off their 2026 campaign on Saturday 7 February against a Scotland side they have shared several thrillers with in recent years.
In 2024, Italy famously ended an 11-year home losing streak by defeating Scotland in Rome. Opening the tournament at home provides a critical opportunity for the Italians to set a positive tone and prove that they are no longer the “wooden spoon” favourites.
The second home match, on Saturday 7 March, sees England travel to Rome. Historically, England has dominated this fixture, but the margin has narrowed significantly.
With the passionate Roman crowd behind them, the Azzurri will view this as a prime opportunity to claim their first-ever Six Nations victory over the English.
Italy will play three away games, against Ireland in Dublin (14 February), France in Paris (22 February) and Wales in Cardiff (14 March).
