Train conductor found dead outside Bologna station.
A 34-year-old Italian train conductor was found dead, presumably stabbed to death, outside Bologna station on Monday evening.
A forensic investigation is under way into the incident which occurred shortly before 19.00, according to Italian news reports.
The deceased Trenitalia employee was found in a pool of blood in an area leading to a car park reserved for station staff and not accessible to passengers.
Police in the north Italian city are studying surveillance camera footage in a bid to track down the killer.
