Visit Baths of Caracalla by the light of the moon.
Rome’s majestic Baths of Caracalla will open to visitors for night tours on nine dates between 12 October and 2 November, the city announced on Monday.
Organised by the special superintendence of Rome, the night tours include areas of the baths complex normally inaccessible to the public, including the underground mithraeum.
Also central to the initiative is Lo Specchio, the large reflecting pool unveiled at the ancient site last year.
