Award-winning UK school to expand in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Brighton College is to open a new school in Rome, as part of an expansion in continental Europe, offering girls and boys aged 3 to 18 a world-class education in the Italian capital.
In collaboration with Intellego Education, Brighton College will open in Rome in September 2027 in the Salario – Nomentana area of the capital.
Awarded the prestigious title of ‘UK School of the Decade’ by The Sunday Times, Brighton College will also open in Madrid and Lisbon, with boarding options available in each school.
With more than 180 years of history, Brighton College is the top school in the UK for A-level results and boasts an educational model that combines “certified academic excellence and a culture of growth based on kindness, curiosity and self-confidence”.

Enrollment in private schools has grown significantly in Italy since 2021, in line with increasing demand for private British education across Europe, fuelled also by a significant return of Italian families from the UK in recent years.
