Italy will play two home games in the 2026 edition of the Six Nations rugby union championship, which kicks off on 4 February and ends on 14 March.<\/p>\n
The Azzurri\u00a0will take on\u00a0Scotland<\/strong>\u00a0on Saturday\u00a07 February<\/strong>\u00a0at 15.10 and\u00a0England<\/strong>\u00a0on Saturday\u00a07 March<\/strong>\u00a0at 17.40, with both\u00a0matches\u00a0will be played at\u00a0the Stadio Olimpico\u00a0in Rome.<\/p>\n Italy will also play three away games: against\u00a0Ireland\u00a0<\/strong>in Dublin on\u00a014 February<\/strong>, against\u00a0France<\/strong>\u00a0in Paris on\u00a022 February<\/strong>, and against\u00a0Wales\u00a0<\/strong>in Cardiff on\u00a014 March<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In 2024\u00a0the Azzurri achieved their\u00a0best ever result<\/strong>\u00a0in the tournament,\u00a0beating Scotland and Wales, and drawing with France, significantly changing the way the team is seen internationally.<\/p>\n However this momentum did not hold in 2025, with\u00a0Italy winning just one match, at home to Wales (22\u201315), and losing every other game, including a very heavy home defeat to France, winners of the competition (24\u201373).<\/p>\n As rugby increases its audience among Italians there is\u00a0greater demand to watch the games in bars in Rome<\/strong>, with a growing number of Italians joining foreigners to watch the annual championship contested by England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.<\/p>\n Here are some of the best pubs<\/strong> in\u00a0Rome<\/strong> to watch the Six Nations matches.<\/p>\n For the biggest screens, party atmosphere and commentary in English, it would be hard to beat Scholars Lounge<\/strong>\u00a0just off the central Piazza Venezia – Rome’s largest Irish pub and past winner of the world’s Irish Pub of the Year. This\u00a0Irish-owned bar features more than 20 screens, serves hot food throughout the day and has a high-energy vibe at night.
