{"id":44950,"date":"2026-01-13T11:59:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T10:59:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polinex.cluster021.hosting.ovh.net\/index.php\/2026\/01\/13\/laura-pausini-to-co-host-italys-sanremo-music-festival-with-carlo-con\/"},"modified":"2026-01-13T11:59:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T10:59:33","slug":"laura-pausini-to-co-host-italys-sanremo-music-festival-with-carlo-con","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/polinex.cluster021.hosting.ovh.net\/index.php\/2026\/01\/13\/laura-pausini-to-co-host-italys-sanremo-music-festival-with-carlo-con\/","title":{"rendered":"Laura Pausini to co-host Italy&#8217;s Sanremo Music Festival with Carlo Con"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<br \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Pausini to join Conti as host of the 76th edition of Sanremo<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n<p>Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini\u00a0will co-host the upcoming Sanremo Music Festival, Italy&#8217;s most popular song contest,\u00a0alongside veteran TV presenter Carlo Conti.<\/p>\n<p>Pausini rose to fame thanks to Sanremo: she won the newcomer section with\u00a0<em>La solitudine<\/em>\u00a0in 1993, returned to the festival with\u00a0<em>Strani amori<\/em>\u00a0in 1994, and has been a guest on several more recent occasions.<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy-winning star, who\u00a0hosted the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest\u00a0in Turin with Mika and Alessandro Cattelan, will co-host Sanremo with Conti over five evenings.<\/p>\n<p>The event, whose official title is the Festival della canzone italiana di Sanremo, has been held at the seaside town on the northwest Ligurian coast every year since 1951.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s festival will take place from 24-28 February, a little later than usual to to avoid clashing with the\u00a0Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, whose opening ceremony will feature\u00a0a performance by Pausini.<\/p>\n<p>The 30 acts in competition include established names\u00a0such as Arisa, Fedez, Tommaso Paradiso, Ermal Meta, Francesco Renga and Patty Pravo, alongside emerging talent.<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo credit: Andrea Raffin \/ Shutterstock.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pausini to join Conti as host of the 76th edition of Sanremo.
