Rome’s public transport system follows reduced schedule\u00a0on main holiday dates over 2025 Christmas season<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/h2>\n

24 December<\/strong>. Christmas Eve. All of Rome’s subways, buses and trams\u00a0will run until 21.00, with night buses following normal weekday timetable.<\/p>\n

25 December<\/strong>. Christmas Day. Buses, metro and trams run from 08.30-13.00 and 16.30-21.00. Night buses follow usual weekday timetable.<\/p>\n

26 December<\/strong>. St Stephen’s Day.\u00a0Buses and trams\u00a0run according to normal Sunday\/festivo<\/em>\u00a0timetable. Metro until 01.30. Night buses follow weekend timetable.<\/p>\n

31 Dec<\/strong>. New Year’s Eve. Buses and trams until 21.00. 12 buses* serving key metro stations will run until 02.30. Subways run until 02.30 at night (early hours of 1 Jan), after which night buses run until 08.00.<\/p>\n

1 Jan 2026<\/strong>. New Year’s Day.\u00a0Rome’s entire public transport\u00a0network resumes at 08.00.<\/p>\n
