{"id":11529,"date":"2025-06-18T08:46:42","date_gmt":"2025-06-18T06:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polinex.cluster021.hosting.ovh.net\/index.php\/2025\/06\/18\/rome-opens-up-the-imperial-fora-by-night-this-summer\/"},"modified":"2025-06-18T08:46:42","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T06:46:42","slug":"rome-opens-up-the-imperial-fora-by-night-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/polinex.cluster021.hosting.ovh.net\/index.php\/2025\/06\/18\/rome-opens-up-the-imperial-fora-by-night-this-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"Rome opens up the Imperial Fora by night this summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<br \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Evening tours every weekend until end of September<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n<p>Rome will open the Imperial Fora to visitors by night this summer, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 20 June until 28 September.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can discover the wonders of the ancient ruins under the stars, with visits from 19.30 until last entry at 22.00, in an initiative that combines history, archaeology and beauty.<\/p>\n<p>The entrance is from Piazza della Madonna di Loreto, via the Imperial Fora ticket office located near Trajan&#8217;s Column.<\/p>\n<p>A staircase leads down to the level of the archaeological area, while a lift is available for people with mobility difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>The one-hour guided tours are available in Italian and English for groups of up to 25 people, with visits every half an hour.<\/p>\n<p>The walking tour begins Trajan&#8217;s Forum before passing through tunnel beneath Via dei Fori Imperiali to reach Caesar&#8217;s Forum with the remains of the Temple of Venus.<\/p>\n<p>The tour then continues to the Curia, seat of the senate, and from there to the exit from Via Bonella onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, near Largo Corrado Ricci.<\/p>\n<p>For ticket details see the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evening tours every weekend until end of September.
