Nobody injured in incident at Cinecittà World.
Italian firefighters rescued 15 people, including four children, who were trapped on a roller coaster at the Cinecittà World amusement park in Rome on Thursday afternoon.
The group was stuck on the Altair ride at a height of 20 metres off the ground, for about an hour, before being rescued by firefighters via an extendable ladder from a fire truck.
There was nobody injured in the incident which is believed to have been caused by a technical fault.
Located to the south of Rome, the 25-hectare Cinecittà World theme park features high-tech attractions, real and virtual roller coasters, aquatic shows and spaces dedicated to cinematic special effects.
